\n\t\t\t\tThe cremation process at Western Lithuanian Crematorium takes only 1.5 hours. This time is counted from the moment the remains of the deceased are placed in the cremation unit until the urn with the remains is handed over to the relatives. The coffin is stripped of metal attributes and then placed with the deceased’s remains on a special mechanism in front of the cremation gate. This is followed by the next level, during which the organic material in the remains is converted into inorganic material. At the third level of the facility, the process of cooling the remains begins.
