CAPSULE WITH THE REMAINSThis year we can offer three sizes of capsule for cremated remains: small (1.2 l), medium (3.9 l) and extra capacity (4.2 l). All capsules are made of metal and have an exceptional leak tightness (impermeable to liquids and light). The size of the capsule is chosen according to the customer’s preferences and the need for the remains to be contained. |

REMOTE FAREWELL TO THE DECEASEDIf it is not possible to attend the farewell ceremony, we give loved ones the opportunity to watch the ceremony online. During the broadcast you can participate in the process of escorting the deceased to the cremation unit and watching the process of loading the coffin into the cremation unit. We also give you the opportunity to get a video of the escort process. Customers requesting this service should inform the crematorium staff in advance. |

FILLING OF NON-STANDARD URNSIf the urn chosen by the deceased’s relatives does not fit the size of the cremation capsule, the ashes are manually placed in the urn. For the deceased’s relatives we can also offer a special service for filling a medallion with the deceased’s remains. |

STORAGE OF REMAINSAfter the death of a loved one, extra time is needed to deal with various legal matters. Therefore, the remains can be stored in special refrigeration units for the entire period between the date of death and the moment of cremation at Western Lithuanian Crematorium. |

| Farewell ceremony in two small parlours
Western Lithuanian Crematorium also has compact but very cosy farewell spaces. They can comfortably accommodate 30 or more people. If required, the crematorium staff will also provide refreshments and drinks, flowers, decorations, background music (ritual music, live instrumental music, choral singing, audio recordings) and participation of a representative of the ceremonial confession (priest, pastor, rabbi, etc.) in these spaces. |

The remains of the deceased will be transported in a suitable vehicle in accordance with all the required hygiene and ethical requirements.

It is therefore essential that the deceased’s remains are prepared for burial procedure in a timely and proper manner. Western Lithuanian Crematorium can offer you the service of storing the remains of the deceased in special refrigerators adapted for this purpose while you prepare for the funeral ceremony.

CEREMONIAL CARRYING OF THE COFFIN OR URNThe team at Western Lithuanian Crematorium will help you solemnly escort your deceased loved one to their eternal resting place. If necessary, we can organise the carrying of the coffin or urn to the grave site. This process involves 4 specially trained persons (for carrying the coffin) or 2 (for carrying the urn).

PREPARATION OF THE GRAVE PITThe crematorium’s team of gravediggers will prepare the burial pit according to your wishes and carry out all the necessary procedures for burying the coffin or urn with the remains of the deceased.
